Today I thanked my Body
I bought it a massage
Every part I’ve scrutinized over the years
And taken for granted day after day
Was caressed by a stranger’s hands with care

As they touched me
I spoke in my mind
Thank you arms for holding me up when I fall
Thank you fingers for conveying my thoughts
Thank you legs for showing me around the world
